Confessions of a Seniorpreneur wannabe
It’s Day 57 of my work term, and I had 12 posts. Not doing too good. My work is taking on a serious note as I get involved with work and the lives of the people around me.
At lunch I got into a conversation with a student in his early 60’s. Mr. Yes I can told me that he’s been a professional all his life, and now he wants to be an entrepreneur. For him, it is not about the money, it is about creating something out of nothing.
We had an emotional conversation. He loves the class experience, and he didn’t realize that he would be so inspired about getting a second life. “It’s like being young again, I have that same feeling when I attended university, surrounded by people with plans for the future. I know the road will be tough, but I am ready for it. It is a challenge, and I will overcome.”
Everyday I see over 100 people who greets me by my first name and I don’t know their first names. This is a weird feeling I have to get used to.
